TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENNAI

Upon arrival at Chennai airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAYS 2: CHENNAI TO MAMALLAPURAM

Enjoy a city tour today, visiting the Kapaleeswarar Temple and Santhome Cathedral, a significant pilgrimage centre and the resting place of St. Thomas. You will also visit Fort St. George and see St. Mary’s Church and Marina Beach. After lunch drive to Mamallapuram. (B,L)

DAY 3: MAMALLAPURAM

Tour the temples of Mamallapuram today. Visit the Shore Temple, the Panch Pandava Rathas and the Varaha Cave Temple. (B,L)

DAY 4: MAMALLAPURAM TO PONDICHERRY

This morning you will be transferred to Pondicherry. Visit the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, one of the most well-known ashrams in India with devotees from all over the world. You will also visit Paradise Beach and the famous gothic-style church of Eglise De Sacre Coeur De Jesus. (B,L)

DAY 5: PONDICHERRY TO CHENNAI

After check-out this morning you will be transferred back to Chennai. Upon arrival at your Chennai hotel or airport your arrangements end. (B)
