Chongqing attracts visitors interested in its cultural heritage, Yangtze River cruising and the Dazu Rock Carvings; valuable works of art carved during the Tang and Song dynasties.

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

DAY 1: CHENGDU TO DAZU

You will be met at your Chengdu hotel and transferred to Dazu for an overnight stay. In the afternoon visit the Beishan Frescoes. (L)

DAY 2: DAZU TO CHONGQING

Visit the Baoding Stone Carvings before travelling to Chongqing. In the afternoon visit Erlin Park and tour the General Stilwell Museum and the People’s Hall. (B,L)

DAY 3: CHONGQING

Enjoy a full day of touring to the Ancient Ciqikou Town, Huguang Guild Hall, the largest architectural complex of guild halls south of the Yangtze River, and Three Gorges Museum, dedicated to protecting the history and culture of the Three Gorges area. This evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner of Chongqing cuisine. (B,L,D)

DAY 4: DEPART CHONGQING

After check-out this morning your arrangements end. (B)
