TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE VIENTIANE

Upon arrival at Vientiane airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tour the city this afternoon.

DAY 2: VIENTIANE TO KHONG ISLAND

Fly to Pakse from where you will cruise to Champassak and drive to the Khmer ruins of Wat Phou. Take an elephant ride to Phou Asa Hill before continuing to Khong Island. (B,L)

DAY 3: KHONG ISLAND TO PAKSE

Travel by boat and walk through villages and countryside to reach Liphi Waterfalls before returning to Pakse. (B,L)

DAY 4: PAKSE TO LUANG PRABANG

Fly to Luang Prabang (via Vientiane). Visit the Old City and climb up Phousi Hill. Witness a Baci Ceremony at a local home this evening. (B)

DAY 5: LUANG PRABANG

Partake in the dawn alms ritual with local monks. Visit the National Museum and cruise along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves. Watch a Ramayana performance tonight. (B,L,D)

DAY 6: LUANG PRABANG

Browse the local markets before visiting Kuangsi Waterfalls. (B)

DAY 7: DEPART LUANG PRABANG

After check-out this morning you will be transferred to Luang Prabang airport where your arrangements end. (B)
