TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: SHANGHAI TO TUNXI

This afternoon you will be met at your Shanghai hotel and transferred to Shanghai railway station to board your overnight sleeper train to Tunxi.

DAY 2: TUNXI TO MT. HUANG

Upon arrival at Tunxi this morning you will take a cable car to the summit of Mt. Huang. Enjoy the spectacular views of the oddly shaped peaks, rock formations, thousand-year-old pine trees and mysteriously ever-changing mist, all of which have inspired local artists for centuries. (B,L)

DAY 3: MT. HUANG TO TUNXI

Take the cable car down to Tunxi at the base of the mountain and explore this ancient town where you will stay overnight. (B,L)

DAY 4: TUNXI TO SHANGHAI

Spend the day visiting local villages and experience the local lifestyle. Much of the housing in this area dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Later, transfer to Tunxi railway station and board your overnight sleeper train back to Shanghai. (B,L)

DAY 5: SHANGHAI

Upon arrival at Shanghai railway station this morning your arrangements end.
