DAY 1: YANGON TO KYAIKTIYO

This morning you will be met at your Yangon hotel and transferred to Kyaiktiyo Mountain, home to the famous Golden Rock. Stop along the way at Bago to visit the Taukkyant War Cemetery and Shwemawdaw Pagoda. Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain, board an open top vehicle, which will take you part of the way, then continue on foot to
the top. Marvel at the giant rock and your surroundings until the sun sets. Transfer to your nearby hotel for an overnight stay. (B,L)

DAY 2: KYAIKTIYO TO YANGON

Rise early to view the sunrise over the rock. Return to the base of the mountain on foot followed by open top truck. On your return to Yangon, stop in Bago again to visit Shwethalyaung Buddha and Kyaik Pun Pagoda. Upon arrival at your Yangon hotel this afternoon your arrangements end. (B,L)
