The Naadam Festival is Mongolia’s biggest event of the year where competitions of archery, wrestling and horse racing are held. The offi cial program runs from 10 to 13 July each year. The festival includes an impressive opening ceremony.

TOUR ITINERARY

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

DAY 1: ARRIVE ULAANBAATAR

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAYS 2-3: THE NAADAM FESTIVAL

Witness the Naadam Festival, where featured events include archery, wrestling and horse racing. Sometimes there are more than 700 men competing in the arena, where there are no judges, no age limits or weight divisions! Cheer on the athletes and enjoy the carnival-like atmosphere. You will also head out of town to see the horse races held on the grasslands steppe outside the city. (B,L,D)

DAY 4: DEPART ULAANBAATAR

With the Festival continuing around you, you will be transferred to the airport where your arrangements end. (B)
