TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI TO SAPA

This afternoon you will be met at your Hanoi hotel or airport and transferred to the railway station to board your overnight sleeper train to Lao Cai.

DAY 2: SAPA

Arrive at Lao Cai railway station early this morning and transfer to Sapa for breakfast. Travel to Muong Hoa Valley and take a walk from Lao Chai Village, where the Black H’mong people live, to Ta Van Village, where the Giay minority live. Return to Sapa for lunch and visit the local market. (B,L)

DAY 3: SAPA

Take a light trek to Cat Cat Village, located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain. See a stunning waterfall and a hydraulic power station built by the French in 1925. (B,L)

DAY 4: SAPA TO HANOI

This morning is free at your leisure. After lunch you will explore Suoi Ho Village, Ma Tra Village and Ta Phin Village, where the Red Dao people live, before returning to Sapa. Later you will be transferred to Lao Cai railway station to board your overnight sleeper train back to Hanoi. (B)

DAY 5: DEPART HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi early this morning and transfer to your Hanoi hotel or airport where your arrangements end.
