experience the unique wildlife in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak. During your adventure you will have the chance to see proboscis Monkeys, long-tailed macaques and many bird species. You will also see the orang-utans up close at the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, where they are shown how to survive in the wild.
This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.
DAY 1: ARRIVE KUCHING
Upon arrival at Kuching airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2: KUCHING – SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE
This morning you will visit Sarawak Cultural Village to learn about the culture and lifestyle of the local people and enjoy a cultural dance performance. Return to Kuching for a city tour, visiting the ancient Chinese temple, the colourful markets and the Sarawak Museum. (B,L)
DAY 3: KUCHING – BAKO NATIONAL PARK
Visit Bako Village where you will board a boat to Bako National Park. Here you can look out for Proboscis Monkeys, long-tailed macaques, lizards and many species of birds. (B,L)
DAY 4: KUCHING – SEMENGGOH WILDLIFE CENTRE
Travel to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Walk along a trail to the feeding area and watch the orang-utans come down from the trees to eat. (B,L)
DAY 5: DEPART KUCHING
After check out this morning you will be transferred to the airport where your arrangements end. (B)
