TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE KOCHI

Upon arrival at Kochi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAYS 2-3: KOCHI TO ALLEPPEY

Enjoy a tour of Kochi today, including a visit to St. Francis Church, the Santa Cruz Basilica, the unique cantilevered Chinese fishing nets and the Jewish Synagogue. This evening watch a Kathakali dance show. (B,L,D) Tomorrow morning you will be transferred from your Kochi hotel to Alleppey to board your overnight houseboat. Known as ‘kettuvallams’, the houseboats are converted from traditional rice barges. (B,L,D)

DAY 4: NEDUMUDY TO THEKKADY

Disembark your houseboat this morning and transfer to Thekkady where Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is located. Walk through the wildlife sanctuary this afternoon. (B,L)

DAY 5: THEKKADY TO KOVALAM

Visit a local spice village and market before driving to Kovalam. The afternoon is free at your leisure. (B)

DAY 6: KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM

Enjoy a tour around Trivandrum visiting the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace, Sree Chitra Art Gallery and Napier Museum. Walk through a local fruit and vegetable market before returning to Kovalam this afternoon. (B,L)

DAY 7: DEPART KOVALAM

After check-out this morning you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport where your arrangements end. (B)
