Karauli is located in the middle of the Jaipur-Agra Highway and is one of the holiest cities in the state of Rajasthan. Here you will stay for two nights at the Bhanwar Vilas Palace, a former Royal residence. Tour the palaces and view the pale red sandstone wall that surrounds the city.

DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2: DELHI
Enjoy a tour of Delhi; see India Gate, view the Red Fort and walk through Chandni Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid. Continue to Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple and Humayun’s Tomb before stopping at Connaught Place Markets for some shopping. (B,L)
DAY 3: DELHI TO AGRA
This morning leave Delhi and drive to Agra, stopping at Sikandra en route to visit the marble tomb of Akbar. (B,L)
DAY 4: AGRA
Rise early to view the Taj Mahal as the sun is rising. Later you will visit the 16th-century Agra Fort, founded by Emperor Akbar. (B,L)
DAY 5: AGRA TO KARAULI
This morning depart for Karauli, one of the holiest cities in Rajasthan. Take a camel cart to the 600-year-old fort before visiting Madan Mohanji Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. (B,L,D)
DAY 6: KARAULI
Start the day with a tour around the palace complex where you will see vintage cars as well as organic and dairy farming. Visit the Kaila Devi Temple before lunch. This afternoon look out for crocodiles and migratory birds while travelling by jeep along the lakeside. (B,L,D)
DAY 7: KARAULI TO JAIPUR
Depart Karauli and head to Jaipur where the afternoon is free at your leisure. (B,L)
DAY 8: JAIPUR
Enjoy a tour of Jaipur starting with a brief photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and the local shops nearby. Continue to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO World Heritage listed ancient observatory and Amer Fort. (B,L)
DAY 9: JAIPUR TO DELHI
Leave Jaipur and transfer to your Delhi hotel or airport where your arrangements end. (B,L)
