TOUR ITINERARY

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

Day 1: arriVe coLombo

Make your own way to your Colombo hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 2: coLombo To nuWara eLiya

Enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Later, drive to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a tea plantation and factory en route. (L,D)

Days 3-4: nuWara eLiya To yaLa naTionaL park

Visit the Sita Amman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Gardens before leaving for Yala National Park. (B,L,D) Tomorrow, enjoy a morning and afternoon jeep safari. (B,L,D)

Day 5: yaLa naTionaL park – uDaWaLaWe naTionaL park

Travel to Udawalawe National Park and enjoy a Jeep safari around the park. Later, visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home. (B,L,D)

Days 6-7: yaLa naTionaL park To raTnapura

Drive to Ratnapura, home to the Ceylon Sapphire. (B,L,D) Tomorrow, tour the Sinharaja Forest Reserve and return to Ratnapura. (B,L,D)

Day 8: raTnapura To GaLLe

Drive to Galle and tour the lighthouse, Old Town and the UNESCO World Heritage listed Dutch Fort. (B,L)

Day 9: GaLLe To coLombo

After check-out you will be transferred to your Colombo hotel or airport where your arrangements end. (B)
