TOUR ITINERARY

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

DAY 1: ARRIVE SHANGHAI

Make your own way to your Shanghai hotel. Later you will tour Shanghai visiting the Pudong area, Yu Gardens and the Old Town. (L)

DAY 2: SHANGHAI - EMBARK YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE

After breakfast you will be transferred to the cruise terminal to board your Victoria Cruises vessel. (B,D)

DAYS 3-4: NANJING TO MT. HUANG

Enjoy a shore excursion to Nanjing including the Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty-style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. (B,L,D) The following day enjoy a shore excursion to Mt. Huang (Yellow Mountain). Take a cable car to the summit where you will see the spectacular views. (B,L,D)

DAYS 5-6: WUHAN - CRUISING

Enjoy a shore excursion to the Guqin Terrace. (B,L,D) Spend tomorrow relaxing on board while cruising towards Yichang. (B,L,D)

DAYS 7: YICHANG – CRUISING

Arrive in Yichang and sail through the Gezhou Dam. Visit the Three Gorges Dam before continuing along the Yangtze River. (B,L,D)

DAY 8: CRUISING

Sail through Wu Gorge and visit the Daning River Small Gorges. (B,L,D)

DAY 9: FENGDU

Enjoy an excursion to the ‘Ghost City’, Fengdu. (B,L,D)

DAY 10: DISEMBARK CHONGQING

Arrive at Chongqing this morning where you will disembark the cruise vessel. Enjoy a tour of Chongqing including the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo, Ciqikou Ancient Town and the General Stilwell Museum. From here you will be transferred to Chongqing airport where your arrangements end. (B,L)
