"I look forward to travelling on a Wendy Wu Tours again in the future"Reviewed:
I would like to relate my experiences recently in Cambodia and Vietnam – in a word FABULOUS – the only complaint I have is that I was home too soon!
A friend and I undertook the Angkor to the bay tour: firstly, the information provided prior to departure in relation to our flights etc was excellent and we had no problems in regard to transit from Saigon to Siem Reap. Upon arrival we were greeted by our delightful guide Mon Trayich (Peaches). This guide is a treasure and she was very knowledgeable and provided us with much information. We were sad to say goodbye in Phnom Penh.
Our time in the temples and pagodas in the Angkor Wat area was just fabulous. Our guide in Vietnam, Phan Tai Tho was also very knowledgeable and extremely patient. Our excursion to the Mekong Delta was also a wonderful experience and Halong Bay met all my expectations and to see those fabulous sights is something I will remember the rest of my life. On return to Hanoi we experienced the Water Puppet Show and I have to say I think this was just amazing.
Our accommodations were very nice and the meals superb. The idea of going to a different restaurant for lunch and dinner is a great way to help the locals and we enjoyed the different venues each time.
I learned what clever, resourceful and happy people the Cambodians and Vietnamese are and though their lives are so different to ours in Australia, it makes me appreciate so much what I have here.
I look forward to travelling on a Wendy Wu Tours again in the future.
