This morning after breakfast, depart Darwin and travel through pristine wetlands to Kakadu National Park, with its swaths of landscapes varying from red-hued escarpments to floodplains teeming with wildlife. Join your local guide on a jumping Crocodile cruise. Keep an eye out for saltwater crocodiles, a diverse array of smaller wildlife and the range of birdlife for which this region is renowned. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel.
Be mesmerized as you explore the renowned Nourlangie rock art site this morning, which had provided shelter to Indigenous people for millennia. Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre for an insight into the local Binij culture. Afterwards, embark on a cruise to experience the dramatic scenery on Yellow Water Billabong. Kakadu's most famous wetland is home to saltwater crocodiles and dozens of species of colourful birdlife. Before arriving in Katherine, stop at Leliyn (Edith Falls), whose pandanus-fringed natural pool is suitable for swimming throughout most of the year! Enjoy dinner at your hotel this evening.
Enjoy a morning cruise through Katherine Gorge, a stunning network of thirteen gorges carved from billion-year-old sandstone. You’ll be at its heart among freshwater crocodiles, wonderful birdlife and amazing scenery. Later, view the displays at the Nitmiluk Visitor Centre, where you may purchase artefacts handmade by the Jawoyn people. Return to Darwin, stopping at the historic gold mining town of Pine Creek and the poignant Adelaide River War Cemetery. Enjoy dinner at Aqua this evening.
Today enjoy a special early morning Anzac Day breakfast before heading to the airport to board your flight to Alice Springs. Upon arrival into Alice Springs Airport, you’ll be met and taken on a tour of the township before driving to Kings Canyon. Upon arrival, complete the Rim Walk (approximately 3 hours). Tonight, enjoy a refreshing dip in the Oasis Pool followed by sundower drinks from your resort's viewing platform and dinner.
Rise early this morning to catch the sunrise over Kings Canyon before continuing to Uluru. Upon arrival in Yulara, enjoy lunch at the Walpa Bar and then transfer out to the Kata Tjutas (The Olgas) for the Walpa Gorge walk. Tonight, watch the sun sink behind Uluru as you enjoy your Night at the Field of Lights Sounds of Silence Experience.
Following a magical Uluru sunrise this morning, return to your resort for breakfast. After check out, meet your guide for your Uluru Base Tour and learn its stories as you walk around the rock. Afterwards, depart from Yulara Airport to Adelaide (via Alice Springs). Upon your arrival in Adelaide, transfer to your hotel for check-in and dinner in-house following your long travel day.
Depart on a full day tour of Adelaide today to see all the stunning local street art, including the Steve Irwin Mural. Pay a visit to Haighs Chocolate Factory for a tasting before commencing your private 3-hour Central Market foodie tour. Sample food from all the local market stalls, followed by a delicious lunch. This afternoon, transfer out of the city for some time at Harlett Cove Conservation Park before heading back to your hotel for a special dinner at Africola.
Depart for the Barossa Valley. Arrive at Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop for an executive private cooking demonstration in the studio kitchen. Continue onto world famous Penfolds, where you’ll become a master winemaker for the day. Next, head to Seppeltsfield and enjoy a Sharing Feast at Fine before arriving at the iconic Jacob’s Creek Cellar Door for a private vineyard tour and tasting. Enjoy a walking tour of the Jacob’s Creek display vineyard, a structured wine tasting will follow. This evening enjoy a 2-course dinner at Cellar Kitchen.
Today spend the day in the Adelaide Hills, stopping at Udder Delights Cheese shop for a delicious tasting, followed by Melba's Chocolate Factory before heading to your first wine tasting at Shaw & Smith. Continue onto Hahndorf Hill Winery for wine tasting held in their beautiful upstairs Gallery Room. Lunch will be in the German town of Hahndorf. After lunch explore the many art galleries, museums, and boutique shops. Make a quick stop to Beerenberg Farm Shop before heading back to your hotel in Adelaide and enjoying a very special farewell dinner at celebrated local restaurant, Orana.
Any time before your flight is at leisure. You will be transferred from your hotel to Adelaide airport, according to the departure time of your connecting flight home.
