Agra is a sprawling city located 240km from Delhi and is most famous for being the home of the beautiful Taj Mahal. The Taj was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and attracts some four million local and international visitors each year.

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.
DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay.
DAY 2: DELHI
Start your day in Old Delhi where you will see the Red Fort. Walk through Chandni Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Visit Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple, dedicated to the ‘Goddess of Wealth’ and enjoy a quick photo stop at India Gate. End the day with a visit to Connaught Place Markets for some shopping. (B,L)
DAY 3: DELHI TO AGRA
Drive to Agra (3-4 hours), visiting the tomb of Idmad-Ud-Daulah en route. It is often referred to as the ‘Baby Taj’ as it is believed to be the prototype to the famous Taj Mahal. (B,L)
DAY 4: AGRA
View the Taj Mahal as the sun is rising and visit a marble inlay workshop and Agra Fort. (B,L)
DAY 5: AGRA TO DELHI
Transfer to your Delhi hotel or airport where your arrangements end. (B)
