Visit Pindaya’s incredible caves, home to thousands of gold Buddha images, before travelling to Inle Lake, famous for its floating villages and gardens.

DAY 1: AUSTRALIA TO YANGON
Fly with Singapore Airlines to Yangon for a two night stay. Brisbane and Adelaide passengers may depart one day earlier.
Day 2: YANGON
Begin your walking tour of Yangon at the Central Post Office. Stroll from Strand Road to Pansodan Jetty. See the Sule Pagoda, the National Museum and Bogyoke Market. Later, watch the sun set at the sacred Shwedagon Pagoda.
Day 3: YANGON TO PYAY
Travel to the historic city of Pyay, also known as Prome. Explore the ancient city of Sri Ksetra, the former capital of the Pyu Kingdom. Later, visit the local museum and take an ox-cart ride around the old city wall. Continue to Hmawzar Village to observe local village life.
Day 4: PYAY TO YANGON
Wander through the central market and visit Shwe San Taw Pagoda and Shwe Myet Hman Pagoda. Return to Yangon.
Day 5: YANGON TO MANDALAY
Fly to Mandalay and travel to Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon Monastery and U Bein Bridge. Continue to Ava and take a horse-drawn carriage to Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace. Later this afternoon, visit Sagaing Hill.
Day 6: MANDALAY
Tour Mandalay, visiting the Mahamuni Pagoda, Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda. Continue to a silk workshop and admire the panoramic views from the top of Mandalay Hill.
Day 7: MANDALAY
Transfer to the jetty and board a boat to Mingun, where you will visit Mingun Mantara Pagoda. Return to Mandalay this afternoon and visit the Golden Palace Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda.
Day 8: MANDALAY TO MONYWA
Travel to Monywa, stopping at the 20th-century Thanboddhay Pagoda en route. Visit the 129m-high Bodhi Tahtaung and the nearby reclining Buddha and later, cross the Chindwin River to the Po Win Taung and Shwe Ba Taung cave complexes.
Day 9: MONYWA TO BAGAN
Drive to Pakokku where you will visit Pakhangyi Monastery and a lively local market. Continue to Bagan by boat, arriving later in the afternoon.
Day 10: BAGAN
Stroll Nyaung U Market and see the most significant pagodas and temples in Bagan, including Shwezigon Pagoda and Ananda and Htilominlo temples. Later, visit Myinkaba Village and watch the sun set from the top of a temple.
Day 11: BAGAN – MT. POPA
Travel to mysterious Mt. Popa and climb the 777 steps to the temple Taung Kalat located at the top. Drive back to Bagan and visit Kubyaukgyi, Manuha and Nanbaya temples. Later, enjoy an ox-cart ride.
Day 12: BAGAN TO PINDAYA
Fly to Heho. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Pindaya for an overnight stay. Visit the Pindaya Caves, which house thousands of Buddha images.
Day 13: PINDAYA TO NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE)
Depart for Nyaung Shwe (Inle Lake) and travel by boat to your hotel. View the stunning scenery as you visit a local market, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery and a weaving village.
Day 14: NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE)
Travel by boat to the hidden Inn Thein Pagoda Complex, admiring the floating gardens en route. Stroll to the nearby village of Saema and visit a local school (school days only).
Day 15: NYAUNG SHWE (INLE LAKE) TO YANGON
This morning you will be transferred to Heho airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival visit Gaba Aye Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda and Nanthida Jetty. This evening, wander through Chinatown and the night market.
Day 16: DEPART YANGON
This morning is free at your leisure before you are transferred to Yangon airport to board your overnight flight to Australia.
Day 17: ARRIVE AUSTRALIA
Arrive home today.
