In Vietnam, be immersed in history and amazed by the daily lives of the local people. Relax in Hoi An, where you can wander among the colourful buildings. Travel to Halong Bay and take in the stunning scenery of the surrounding limestone islets. Continue to Laos and visit the fascinating city of Luang Prabang. See exquisite waterfalls and caves and visit traditional local villages. End this magical journey in Cambodia, visiting Siem Reap, where you will explore the astounding temples of Angkor; some of these ancient ruins have been swallowed by the jungle.
This captivating and diverse region will amaze you; from bustling cities and busy markets, to charming towns and stunning scenery.

DAY 1: AUSTRALIA TO SAIGON
Fly with Vietnam Airlines to Saigon for a three night stay.
DAY 2: SAIGON
Tour Saigon, beginning with a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. End the day at Ben Thanh Market where you can enjoy some shopping.
DAY 3: SAIGON – CU CHI & TAY NINH
Explore the amazing network of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which once housed entire underground villages during the American War in Vietnam. Later, travel to Tay Ninh to experience the midday service at the head temple of the unique Cao Dai religion.
DAY 4: SAIGON TO HOI AN
Fly to Danang and transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Hoi An, stopping at Marble Mountains en route.
DAY 5: HOI AN
This morning tour the charming town of Hoi An on foot, visiting an old merchant’s home, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Hoi An Market and a local Chinese temple.
DAY 6: HOI AN TO HANOI
Fly to Hanoi. Visit the serene Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century by King Lý Nhân Tông, and take a cyclo around Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter.
DAY 7: HANOI TO HALONG BAY
Travel to Halong Bay where you will spend the night on board a junk boat, relaxing and watching the sun set over the bay.
DAY 8: HALONG BAY TO HANOI
Continue cruising around the bay this morning before returning to Hanoi. This evening enjoy a performance of the famous Water Puppets.
DAY 9: HANOI TO LUANG PRABANG
Fly to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Luang Prabang, Laos. Enjoy the afternoon free at your leisure before climbing Phousi Hill for views over the town and to watch the sun set over the Mekong River.
DAY 10: LUANG PRABANG
Rise early to view the Buddhist ceremony of Takbat. Visit Wat Xieng Thong and cruise along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves. Return to Luang Prabang, stopping at the villages of Thin Hong and Ban Xang Khong.
DAY 11: LUANG PRABANG
Tour Wat Sene and the National Museum before continuing to Kuangsi Waterfalls, visiting a local village en route. This evening witness a Baci Ceremony at a local home.
DAY 12: LUANG PRABANG TO SIEM REAP
Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where you will explore the Hindu temple of Banteay Srei. Later, visit Pre Rup in time for sunset.
DAY 13: SIEM REAP
Rise early to explore the amazing temples of Angkor, starting with the fabulous Ta Prohm. Continue to Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and the magnificent Angkor Wat.
Day 14: SIEM REAP
Travel by boat to see the floating villages, schools and restaurants along Tonle Sap. Continue to the temple of Beng Mealea, enjoying a picnic lunch en route.
DAY 15: DEPART SIEM REAP
Enjoy the morning free at your leisure before you are transferred to Siem Reap airport to board your overnight flight to Australia.
DAY 16: ARRIVE AUSTRALIA
Arrive home today.
