Short Stay itinerary
This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.
DAY 1: SHANGHAI TO TUNXI
You will be met at your Shanghai hotel and transferred to the airport to board your flight to Tunxi. Overnight in Tunxi.
DAY 2: TUNXI TO MT. HUANG
This morning take a cable car to the summit of Mt. Huang where you will stay overnight. Enjoy the spectacular views of the oddly shaped peaks, rock formations, thousand-year-old pine trees and ever-changing mist, all of which have inspired local artists and poets for centuries. (B,L)
DAY 3: MT. HUANG TO TUNXI
Take the cable car down to the base of the mountain and explore the ancient town of Tunxi where you will stay overnight. (B,L)
DAY 4: TUNXI TO SHANGHAI
Enjoy a half-day tour visiting nearby villages and experience the local lifestyle. Most of the housing in this area dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Later, transfer to Tunxi railway station and board your overnight soft sleeper train back to Shanghai. (B,L)
DAY 5: arrive SHANGHAI
Upon arrival at Shanghai railway station early this morning your arrangements end.
