Short Stay itinerary

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

DAY 1: KATHMANDU TO NAGARKOT

You will be met at your Kathmandu hotel and transferred to Nagarkot, a mountainous resort village. (L)

DAY 2: NAGARKOT

Depending on weather conditions, you may wish to rise early to view the sunrise over the Himalaya range. Walk down to Bastola Village with a local guide and spend time strolling through the village, observing the daily life of the local people. Meet a local family and participate in cooking lesson, followed by lunch. Later this afternoon enjoy some time at leisure to enjoy a walk or hike and explore the surrounding area. (B,L)

DAY 3: NAGARKOT TO KATHMANDU

Travel back to Kathmandu, visiting the temple of Changu Narayan and the 9th-century-built town of Bhaktapur en route. (B,L)

DAY 4: KATHMANDU – PATAN

Tour Patan, including the former Royal Palace and Patan’s Durbar Square. Return to Kathmandu and visit two of the most significant sights in Nepal, the Bodhnath and Swayambhunath stupas. (B,L)

DAY 5: KATHMANDU

Enjoy the day free at your leisure to explore Kathmandu. (B,L)

DAY 6: DEPART KATHMANDU

After check-out you will be transferred to Kathmandu airport where your arrangements end. (B)
