Terelj National Park is located approximately 80km from Ulaanbaatar and is the third largest protected area in Mongolia. Its grassy plains and forest-covered mountains are a contrast to the Gobi’s desert landscape. The park is also home to nomadic Mongolians, offering you a chance to interact with, and learn about, the lifestyle of the local people.
