This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.
DAY 1: ARRIVE ULAANBAATAR
Upon arrival at Ulaanbaatar airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will visit Sukhbaatar Square and Government House to see the nine state banners and Zaisan Hill War Memorial for panoramic views of the city. This evening dine on a traditional Mongolian dinner. (L,D)
DAY 2: ULAANBAATAR
Visit the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum and the Winter Palace, which consists of a complex of temples and a European-style home. Enjoy the afternoon free at your leisure. (B,L)
DAY 3: ULAANBAATAR
Explore the Museum of Mongolian History and the Museum of Natural History, where many dinosaur fossils from the Gobi Desert are housed. In the afternoon visit the 19th-century-built Gandan Monastery, the largest and most significant monastery in Mongolia, followed by a visit to the local markets. (B,L)
DAY 4: DEPART ULAANBAATAR
After check-out this morning you will be transferred to the airport or railway station where your arrangements end. (B)
