"Deciding on Wendy Wu Tours and getting Allen as our National Guide and being part of “Allen Family” was like hitting the jackpot"
Reviewed:

Picking a China tour from a brochure still has an element of guesswork and risk. Reading online reviews helps, but it is always biased one way or the other. But deciding on Wendy Wu Tours and getting Allen as our National Guide and being part of “Allen Family” was like hitting the jackpot, we got riches beyond our expectations. After traveling with him for the first couple of days, I had made the decision to write to Miss Wendy and tell her of the skill and passion he showed at his job as “National Guide”. (I love that title it sounds so grand!)

After our tours in France and Italy in 2012 we came to the conclusion that the tour Guide and the group you travel with are the key to having a great experience.

Allen’s passion for China is in his heart and that passion came though time and time again… to us crazy Aussie tourists loud and clear, I’d like to say “well done mate J.”

The great thrill was seeing all those Chinese Icons that we were taught about in our primary school, social studies classes back in the 1960’s. And things you don’t read in brochures … that’s the people, the way of life, the noise, and Chinese way of doing things there own way… awesome!

We loved “mixing it with the locals” even though it’s sometimes scary and the language barrier seems too hard, time and time again we found the Chinese people to be warm and friendly to us and helped us out  “negotiate the good price” and we do under stand how hard English is to master.

It does my heart good knowing we will always have a friend like Allen in China and always being part of “Allen’s family”.

We would like to give our highest recommendation to Allen, the local guides, his back room support, for his attention to detail and his skill of getting the “family” where they had to be with a minimum of fuss or angst.

Thank you to all the Wendy Wu staff who support the people at the coal face like Allen and his fellow guides.

We returned yesterday from our Wonders of China trip and what a wonderful trip it was.  We have done a Wendy Wu trip a few years ago but this one included the Yangzte Cruise.  The scenery and the history of China is something not to be missed  and the food was plentiful.

Our tour guide Nick was very professional, but approachable and friendly and put us at ease.  We knew we could rely on him and it made the tour stress free.  He is an excellent ambassador for the Wendy Wu Company and it was a pleasure to have him with us on the tour.

The local guides were all knowledgeable and very good.

Thank you Wendy Wu for a wonderful trip to China

"This was our best tour ever!"
Reviewed:

We were a mixed group of travellers, 6 from Australia, 6 from UK and 4 from USA but it was a great mix of people who all got along and enjoyed each others company on this wonderful tour.

It provided exactly what my husband and I wanted to see and experience on our first visit to China and our first Wendy Wu tour.

Our National Escort Leo (Zhang Xu) was a wonderful young man who in his capacity as our escort was extremely professional, friendly, funny and capable person who very much enhanced our enjoyment of this tour. He gave us all the sightseeing inclusions and offered extra optional tours that we were very impressed with and enjoyed!

Overall this tour is a wonderful introduction to China it covers as described THE WONDERS OF CHINA and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering a Wendy Wu tour.

Having been on tours before with mixed results we can truly say that this was our BEST TOUR EVER!!!

It is hard to pick a highlight because it was all a highlight, it was GREAT!

"Our holiday was really stress free knowing that we were “in Nick’s hands”"
Reviewed:

We have just  returned from an 18 day tour of China.  (Wonders of China).   We have experienced quite a few previously  organised tours with different companies,  but we would have to say that the tour guide (Nick) we had with us from start to finish on this tour  was exceptional.

He was there for us if there were any queries or problems.  Personally, I have a problem eating pork and I couldn’t believe how he made sure at every meal that I was looked after with an alternative.

He was so attentive to every detail and because of this, our holiday was really stress free knowing that we were “in Nick’s hands”

I congratulate you on putting together such a great tour of China and employing such an excellent Tour Guide.

"I congratulate Wendy Wu Tours in relation to the Wonders of China Tour"
Reviewed:

I would like to provide some feedback about the tour we participated in with your company. We have been fortunate enough to have been able to have taken a number of trips overseas. Our experiences have been wide and varied in relation to the quality and service experienced on these trips.

It is without hesitation that I congratulate Wendy Wu Tours in relation to the Wonders of China Tour.

It was extremely well organised. Whilst it was a rather large group, this never interfered with the smooth operation of all the activities. The accommodation left little to be desired and the food was abundant – always allowing us to try the various special dishes from each area. The guides were very pleasant and helpful. The national guide, Andy, is an extremely strong asset to your company. His ability to manage the fairly large group with such a positive personality is something of which your company can be proud.
