Tour Reviews

"We were delighted with the Wendy Wu Tours"
Reviewed:

My husband and I have just returned from an extended tour of Mainland China over the last 3 months. We were delighted with the Wendy Wu Tours that we went on and would like to thank your company for excellent service. We really appreciated the kind, caring and conscientious dedication of our 3 Xian based National escorts; Erin on The Silk Road: August 31st- September 26th, Wendy on The Grand Tour of China: 28th September- 21st October and Nick on The Yunnan Adventure: November 3rd- 17th. We also enjoyed 2 independent guided tours to the Nine Villages Valley with local guides Mary and Harry and Mt Huang short tour with Sunny.

The role of the National Escort catering for the needs and complaints of foreigner tourists is immense. Congratulations to these three dedicated and professional young guides for always doing their very best to skilfully make our holiday a fantastic and memorable experience in fascinating China. With English being their second language, we were very impressed with their communication skills to us as non Mandarin speaking tourists.

Erin was very helpful, Wendy was always a positive leader saying she was available 24/7 (even helping me obtain a haircut in Kunming) and Nick was outstanding. We were also very impressed by the wonderful local guides in each location (Lily in Lanzhou, Simon in Jiayuguan, Neisha in Urumqi, Rita and Grace in Beijing, Bill in Chongqing, Jessie in Kunming, James in Dali, Effie in Guilin, April in Shanghai, Aaron in Hangzhou, Daisy in Kunming, Cindy in Lijiang, Nema in Zhongdian and Lucy in Kunming) and the Wendy Wu network in place to collect us from transport locations as needed. We are very impressed by the organization of our selected tours and always felt safe and well cared for while we were in China with Wendy Wu Tours.

"As always the tour was well organised right from the time when I booked the tour"
Reviewed:

Having travelled with Wendy Wu Tours four times previously, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed – as always the tour was well organised right from the time when I booked the tour. There was nothing I had to do but to participate in and enjoy the planned itinerary of the Yunnan Adventure tour.

It was a great experience: the hotels, the meals, the sites we visited – all were of a high quality and the tour was vary capably led by WW National Tour Guide (Tony), who was assisted by the local guides in the areas we visited – as they shared their knowledge of their country and culture with us.

Special mention must be made also to the excellent driving skills of the two tour bus drivers we had as we travelled up and through the mountain of the Yunnan Province.

Thanking you once again for another wonderful holiday experience, which I have been able to share.
