Destination Management Companies (DMCs): We partner with DMCs to deliver tours on the ground. Your relevant personal information (e.g. dietary needs, passport data) may be shared with these trusted partners solely to facilitate your booking. All DMCs are contractually required to safeguard your data.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that all third parties, including overseas partners, comply with privacy obligations and only use your data for the intended purpose.
 

7. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Some of your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients including in the United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, China, and Vietnam. These disclosures help us coordinate your travel arrangements.
We ensure that these recipients have privacy safeguards in place and contractually commit to handling your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
 
 

8. Access to the 'My Wendy Wu' Portal

Our online portal allows travellers on the same booking reference to view shared itinerary and booking details. We use security safeguards to restrict access to authorised users only. Please do not share your login details with others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
 

9. Direct Marketing

With your consent, we may contact you about promotions, new tours or updates. You can opt-out at any time by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails, or

  • Contacting us at privacy@wendywutours.com.au

We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing.
 

10. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored securely in our reservation system and internal servers. We protect it through firewalls, access controls, encryption and staff training. Only authorised personnel can access your data.
