Canada is a country on an epic scale. Canada’s first transcontinental railway was completed in 1885, connecting Vancouver on the Pacific with the port of Montreal in the east. Today, the network that this began has expanded to take in major cities and provincial capitals from the Atlantic coast across, creating a perfect, easy and comfortable way to see the variety of Canada’s gargantuan landscapes.
You’ll also find luxury trains running some of the most picturesque sections, in fact, the iconic Rocky Mountaineer is now the only passenger train that uses the historic Canadian Pacific line.
