TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Delhi to Leh

Transfer to the airport this morning and board your flight to Leh. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to acclimatise to the altitude (3,505m).

Day 2: Leh

Enjoy a tour of the city. Starting with a visit to Shankar Gompa, the 17th Century Leh Palace and Stok Palace. (B,L)

Day 3: Leh - Ladakh Gompas

A full day of sightseeing to the massive Tibetan Buddhist gompas and monasteries of Shey, Thiksey, Taktak and Hemis. (B,L)

Day 4: Leh - Alchi

Today you will follow the Indus River westwards to Alchi Village and visit the historic Alchi Gompa. (B,L)

Day 5: Leh to Delhi

Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi. Arrangements end upon arrival at Delhi Airport. (B)
