TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE SHANGHAI

Upon arrival at Shanghai airport you will be met and transferred to the Sofitel Hyland Hotel. Enjoy a tour of Shanghai this afternoon visiting the Pudong area, Yu Gardens and the Old Town. (L)

DAY 2: SHANGHAI - EMBARK YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE

After breakfast you will be transferred to the cruise terminal to board the Victoria Sophia cruise vessel (cruise leaves approximately at 1700 hours). (B,L,D)

DAYS 3-4: NANJING TO MT. HUANG

Enjoy a shore excursion to Nanjing including the Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. (B,L,D) The following day enjoy a shore excursion to Mt. Huang (Yellow Mountain). Take a cable car to the summit where you will see spectacular views. (B,L,D)

DAYS 5-6: WUHAN - CRUISING

Enjoy a shore excursion this morning visiting the Hubei Provincial Museum. (B,L,D) Spend tomorrow relaxing onboard whilst cruising towards Yichang. (B,L,D)

DAYS 7-9: YICHANG TO FENGDU

Arrive in Yichang and sail through the Gezhou Dam. Visit the Three Gorges Dam and pass through the ship locks this afternoon. (B,L,D) The next day sail through Wu Gorge and visit the Daning River Small Gorges. (B,L,D) The following day enjoy an excursion to the ‘Ghost City’, Fengdu. (B,L,D)

DAY 10: DISEMBARK CHONGQING

Arrive at Chongqing this morning where you will disembark(approximately 0800) from the Victoria Sophia cruise vessel. Enjoy a tour of Chongqing including the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo, Ciqikou Ancient Town and the General Stilwell Museum. From here you will be transferred to Chongqing airport where your arrangements end. (B,L)
