Day 2: Shanghai to Yangtze River CruiseAfter breakfast, transfer to the cruise terminal and board (Embarkation is at 10am) the Victoria Prince cruise vessel that will be sailing from Shanghai. Day 3: Yangtze River Cruise - NanjingEnjoy a shore excursion to Nanjing for a tour including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. Return to the ship and continue cruising. Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise - HuangshanEarly start today with another full day shore excursion to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). If weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan (Jiuhuashan or ‘Mountain of the Nine Lotuses’ may be substituted). Continue cruising overnight. Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise -WuhanCruise through the day to Wuhan, arriving after lunch. Late this afternoon there will be a shore excursion to see Wuhan and visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Day 6: Yangtze River CruiseContinue cruising upstream toward Yichang. Day 7: Yangtze River Cruise - YichangEarly morning arrival at Yichang and sail through the Gezhou Dam. Later visit the Three Gorges Dam Project site before passing through the ship lock this afternoon. Day 8: Yangtze River CruiseSail through the Wu Gorge and take an excursion to the Danning River Small Gorges. Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise - FengduArrive early at Fengdu and take an excursion to the ‘Ghost City’. Continue cruising overnight. Day 10: Disembark ChongqingEarly morning arrival at Chongqing where you will disembark from the Victoria Prince. Enjoy a sightseeing tour through the city including the Panda House at the Chongqing Zoo, Arhat Temple, Ciqikou Ancient Town and the Stillwell Museum, before transferring to the airport for your onward flight. |
