Chongqing is the starting and finishing point for cruises along the Yangtze River. There are many wonderful historical and natural sites to explore if you have a few extra days including Erlin Park for panoramic views of the city, museums and ancient villages. Chongqing is also renowned for its hot Sichuan cuisine and world-famous hotpot dishes for those after a culinary adventure.
This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.
DAY 1: ARRIVE CHONGQING
Make your own way to your Chongqing hotel. This afternoon visit the Panda House at Chongqing Zoo.
DAY 2: CHONGQING
Wander through Erlin Park and tour the General Stilwell Museum and the People’s Hall. (B,L)
DAY 3: CHONGQING
Enjoy a full day touring to the Ancient Ciqikou Town, Huguang Guild Hall and Tongyuanmen City Wall Ruins Park. (B,L)
DAY 4: DEPART CHONGQING
After check-out this morning your arrangements end. (B)
