Classic China

From $5,673 - 22 Days, Fully Inclusive from selected Australian cities

From the spectacle of the Great Wall to the majesty of the Yangtze River and south to the scenery of Yunnan Province, our Classic China tour encompasses many of China’s must see attractions in one complete itinerary. Starting in the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai a short flight brings us to Beijing with the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and the world renowned ‘Great Wall’. An overnight train journey to Xian and the World Heritage listed Terracotta Warriors is followed by a four night cruise up the Yangtze River to Chongqing where we see the adorable Giant pandas. From here we fly to Guilin and then to Yunnan Province and the ancient city of Lijiang. Our tour finishes in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan.

TOUR ITINERARY

Wendy Wu Tours Review: "My wife and I have just returned from the tour and would like to congratulate your company for organising such a sensational tour. Our group of 22 had a fabulous time. Our national guide Lv Xiaozhu (Judy) was absolutely fantastic, she looked after us and was a pleasure to have her lead us through a very interesting country. She shared her views on old China and how China had moved into the new era. Each local guide engaged us with good information on their city. We now have a very clear understanding and appreciation of China and the Chinese people. What a wonderful country.

The hotels were good and the food was what we expected. We are 100% happy with our choice of tour and as our work life is very busy we did very little planning for this holiday. We just booked the tour with Wendy Wu and turned up at the airport, when we arrived in Shanghai Lv Xiaozhu arranged everything. We enjoyed all that she arranged for us and she did a fabulous job as everything just worked out so well. We have travelled many places around the world and this is the first organised tour we had done. We are absolutely sold on this type of tour especially in a country where very few people speak English.

Please pass on our thanks to the Chinese management team and especially to Lv Xiaozhu for her dedication in looking after our every need and guiding us through China. What a wonderful lady she is. Many Thanks"
