Hainan Island and Hong Kong

Hainan is a beautiful island off the southern coast of China and lies at a similar latitude to Hawaii. The main port and resort area of Hainan Island is Sanya on the southern tip, while Yalong Bay to the east stretches along a 7km coastline dotted with thatched umbrellas. With clear blue waters and pristine white sandy beaches, as well as lush green mountains, Sanya is truly a tropical paradise. A major attraction of this island is the local seafood. Here you can try delicious specialties such as spotted crab, white prawn, scallops, oysters and lobster. Delicious and mouth watering! Hainan Island enjoys a year-round tropical climate with the average temperature between 22-26ºC. The dry season (December-March) and rainy season (April–November) are very distinct and there may be tropical storms in the warmer months (June-July). Whatever your choice, Hainan Island offers many unique experiences.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Australia to Sanya

Fly to Sanya, Hainan Island with Cathay Pacific via Hong Kong. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your Yalong Bay hotel.

Days 2-4: Yalong Bay

Spend the next 3 days at leisure. Relax by the pool or the beach and enjoy the sunshine or try out some optional tours. (B)

Day 5: Sanya to Hong Kong

Upon check out from your hotel this morning you will be transferred to Sanya Airport to board your flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival in Hong Kong make your own way to the Harbour Grand Kowloon hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 6: Hong Kong Island Tour

Enjoy a half day tour of Hong Kong including a visit to Stanley Market, Victoria Peak and Aberdeen Fishing Village. (B)

Days 7-8: Hong Kong to Australia

Make your own way to Hong Kong Airport for your overnight flight back to Australia. (B) Arrive home the following morning.
