DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2: HANOI - CITY TOUR
Enjoy a city tour by cyclo, visiting the Old Quarter and West Lake. Continue on to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Humble House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. This afternoon visit the Ethnology Museum and watch a Water Puppet performance. (B,L)
DAY 3: HANOI
Shop for fresh produce in a street market with a local chef and try your hand at making traditional Vietnamese dishes. (B,L)
DAY 4: HANOI - HALONG BAY
Travel to Halong Bay and enjoy a relaxing cruise. (B,L)
DAY 5: HANOI TO HUE
Fly to Hue today and board a boat for a cruise along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. (B)
DAY 6: HUE
Cruise along the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda. After lunch visit the Imperial Citadel before strolling through Dong Ba Market to learn about Hue’s imperial cuisine. (B,L)
DAY 7: HUE TO HOI AN
Drive over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. Enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An’s Old Town this afternoon. This evening partake in a cooking class at Red Bridge Cooking School. (B,D)
DAY 8: HOI AN TO SAIGON - MEKONG DELTA
Transfer to Danang and fly to Saigon. Upon arrival you will drive to the Mekong Delta. Cruise along river, paddle through canals on a sampan and walk through villages. (B,L)
DAY 9: SAIGON
Accompany a local chef to the Central Market to selsce ingredients for your cooking class. This afternoon, visit Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Reunification Palace. (B,L)
DAY 10: DEPART SAIGON
After check-out this morning you will be transferred to Saigon airport where your arrangements end. (B)
