Day 1: Arrive Lhasa

Transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel. This afternoon start your exploration of the ‘Roof of the World'.

Day 2: Lhasa

Enjoy a visit to the Potala Palace, an architectural wonder towering over an entire mountain. You will also visit Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Circuit. (B,L)

Day 3: Lhasa to Gyantse

Travel to Gyantse and visit the Pelkor Monastery and the ruins of the Old Fort. (B,L)

Day 4: Gyantse to Shigatse

Depart Gyantse today and travel to Shigatse. Upon arrival visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, where the 11th Panchen Lama, who ranks close to the Dalai Lama, has his official residence. (B,L)

Day 5: Shigatse to Lhasa

Depart Shigatse today and travel back to Lhasa. (B)

Day 6: Depart Lhasa

Transfer to the airport this morning where your arrangements end. (B)
