TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Saigon

Transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel. This afternoon commence on a tour of the city.

Day 2: Saigon - Nui Dat/Long Tan

Visit the former Australian base of Nui Dat, the Long Tan Battlefield and Holy Cross, Long Phuoc Tunnel, Horse-Shoe Hill and Gia Quy Mountain. (B,L)

Day 3: Saigon - Mekong Delta to Hue

Morning excursion to the Mekong Delta, visit the former base of the 9th US Division and Riverine Units. After lunch return to Saigon and fly to Hue. (B,L)

Day 4: Hue - DMZ

Visit the sites around the DMZ including the Khe Sanh Marine Base and Camp Carol. (B,L)

Day 5: Hue to Hoi An via Danang

Embark on a tour around Hue this morning, visit the Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda and tombs of the former emperors. Later drive to Hoi An visiting the Marble Mountains and China Beach en route. (B,L)

Day 6: Hoi An to Pleiku

Fly to Pleiku. Follow Highway 14 to Ham Rong Pass and Camp Enari, the former headquarters of the 4th Infantry Division. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Pleiku - Dak To

Visit Dak To today, swap stories with ethnic Banar people in their remote highland village before continuing to Camp Halloway. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Pleiku to Saigon - Cu Chi

Fly to Saigon. Visit Cu Chi Tunnels and Tropic Lightning before returning to Saigon and check in to your hotel. (B)

Day 9: Depart Saigon

After check out, transfer to the airport where your arrangements end. (B)
