Later enjoy a tour of this cosmopolitan city, including the Pudong area and wander through the Yu Garden and Old town. Day 3: Shanghai/ Yangtze River CruiseAfter breakfast, transfer to the Victoria Prince cruise vessel that will be sailing from Shanghai. Embarkation is at 10am. Day 4: Yangtze River Cruise/ NanjingThere is a full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. Return to your ship to continue cruising. Day 5: Yangtze River Cruise/ Mt Huang7am to 5pm, shore excursion to Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). (Jiuhuashan or ‘Mountain of the Nine Lotuses’ may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan). Continue cruising overnight. Day 6: Yangtze River Cruise/ WuhanCruise through the day to Wuhan, arriving after lunch. There will be a shore excursion at around 4pm for about three hours to see Wuhan and visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. Day 7: Yangtze River CruiseContinue cruising today along the Yangtze River upstream toward Yichang. Day 8: Yangtze River Cruise/ YichangEarly morning arrival at Yichang and then sail through the Gezhou Dam. Later there will be a visit to the Three Gorges Dam Project site before passing through the Three Gorges Dam ship lock later in the afternoon. Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise/ Daning River Small GorgesSail through Wu Gorge and take an excursion to the Daning River Small Gorges. Day 10: Yangtze River Cruise/ FengduArrive early at Fengdu and take an early excursion to the ‘Ghost City’. Continue cruising overnight. Day 11: Chongqing/ ShanghaiEarly morning arrival at Chongqing where you will disembark from the Victoria Prince. Enjoy a sightseeing tour through the city including the Panda House at the Chongqing Zoo, Arhat Temple, Ciqikou Ancient Town and the Stillwell Museum, before transferring to the airport for your flight back to Australia.
