TOUR ITINERARY

This is a private short stay package for the independent traveller.

Day 1: naGpur To kanHa TiGer reserVe

Upon arrival in Nagpur, transfer (approximately 6 hours) to Kanha Tiger Reserve. Spread across 940sq km, the reserve is renowned for its tigers and Swamp Deer. (D)

Days 2-3: kanHa TiGer reserVe

Over the next two days, enjoy morning and evening jeep safaris around the reserve. Kanha National Park, was the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s unforgettable classic The Jungle Book. (B,L,D)

Days 4-5: kanHa TiGer reserVe To banDHaVGarH naTionaL park

Leave Kanha and drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. This afternoon, proceed on a jeep safari. (B,L,D) Tomorrow, enjoy both a morning and afternoon jeep safari around the reserve. (B,L,D)

Day 6: banDHaVGarH naTionaL park To aGra Via kaTni

Enjoy a morning jeep safari around the park and enjoy the rest of the day free at your leisure. This evening, transfer to Katni railway station (approximately 11/2 hours) to board your overnight soft sleeper train to Agra. Dinner will be a packaged meal from the hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 7: aGra To bHaraTpur

Upon arrival in Agra this morning transfer to Keoladeo National Park. (Optional tour to the Taj Mahal is available at an additional cost). This afternoon enjoy bird watching by rickshaw through the park. (L,D)

Day 8: bHaraTpur To ranTHambore naTionaL park

Transfer to Bharatpur railway station and board the train to Ranthambore National Park, one of the prime examples of Project Tiger. This afternoon enjoy a canter safari around the park. (B,L,D)

Day 9: ranTHambore naTionaL park

Enjoy morning and afternoon canter safaris around the park. Declared a national park in 1981, Ranthambore National Park offers a variety of birds, native flora and wild animals for tourists to spot. (B,L,D)

Day 10: ranTHambore naTionaL park To DeLHi

Transfer to Sawai Madhopur railway station and board your train to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free at your leisure or you may wish to do some last minute shopping at the Connaught Place Markets. (B)

Day 11: DeparT DeLHi

After check-out this morning your arrangements end. (B)
