Your tour commences in the vibrant capital of Phnom Penh, where you learn about the country’s turbulent past. Sihanoukville is regarded as Cambodia’s premier beach destination; you will have time here to relax and soak up the atmosphere. View stunning waterfalls and wildlife at Kirirom National Park and visit local villages by bamboo train in the colonial town of Battambang.
Temple enthusiasts will be enthralled in Siem Reap. Tour the fortified city of Angkor Thom, the incredible Angkor Wat, as well as other less visited temples. You will be quite amazed by the sheer magnitude of these ancient temples, which are a highlight for most!

DAY 1: AUSTRALIA TO PHNOM PENH
Fly with Singapore Airlines to Phnom Penh for a two-night stay.
Adelaide passengers may need to depart one day earlier.
DAY 2: PHNOM PENH
Tour the city, visiting the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Emerald Buddha and National Museum. Learn about the atrocities of Pol Pot at the emotional Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields. Finish your day with a relaxing cruise along the Mekong River at sunset.
DAY 3: PHNOM PENH TO KEP
Today you will drive to Kep, a seaside resort town popular with the French in the early 1900s. Stop at Tonle Bati, the temple of Phnom Chisor and Kompong Trach en route.
DAY 4: KEP TO SIHANOUKVILLE
Continue driving along the southern coast this morning to Sihanoukville, stopping at Kampot en route. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure.
DAY 5: SIHANOUKVILLE
Today is free at your leisure to relax and further explore the seaside town of Sihanoukville.
DAY 6: SIHANOUKVILLE TO PHNOM PENH
Return to Phnom Penh today, stopping along the way at Kirirom National Park to see its stunning waterfalls and wildlife.
DAY 7: PHNOM PENH TO BATTAMBANG
Drive to the colonial town of Battambang. Along the way stop at the 17th-century capital of Udong and also visit Kampong Chhnang Province to see traditional handmade pottery and the floating village of Chnok True.
DAY 8: BATTAMBANG
This morning travel on a bamboo train to visit local villages and ‘La Maison de Coco’. This afternoon take in the views of the Prasat Bannon Temple from Phnom Bannon Hill.
DAY 9: BATTAMBANG TO SIEM REAP
August to February - High water season Travel by speedboat down Stung Sangker River to Tonle Sap, from where you will drive to Siem Reap.
March to July - Low water season Drive to Siem Reap, stopping en route at the National Silk Centre.
DAY 10: SIEM REAP
This morning explore the amazing temples of Angkor, visiting Angkor Thom, the Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of the Leper King and Angkor Wat.
DAY 11: SIEM REAP
Today you will visit the temples of Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre, Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Prohm and climb to the summit of Pre Rup where you can watch the sun set over the surrounding rice fields.
DAY 12: SIEM REAP - BENG MEALEA
Travel to the lesser visited temple of Beng Mealea. Explore the local markets and visit Les Artisan Angkor where disadvantaged youth are taught traditional Cambodian handicrafts. Enjoy an Apsara dance show this evening.
DAY 13: DEPART SIEM REAP
This morning is free at your leisure. Later you will be transferred to Siem Reap airport to board your overnight flight to Australia.
DAY 14: ARRIVE AUSTRALIA
Arrive home this morning.
