TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: DELHI TO AMRITSAR

Early this morning you will be met at your Dehli hotel and transferred to the railway station to board your train to Amritsar. This evening you will witness the flag lowering ceremony at the Wagah Border, where the borders of India and Pakistan meet. (L)

DAY 2: AMRITSAR

Enjoy a tour of Amritsar today. Visit the Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh and the temple of Durgian Mandir. (B,L)

DAY 3: AMRITSAR TO DHARAMSHALA

Drive to Dharamshala and explore the local markets. Visit the Dalai Lama temple complex in Mcleodganj (also known as Upper Dharamshala) this evening. (B,L)

DAY 4: DHARAMSHALA - PALAMPUR

Tour the hill station of Palampur today. Visit the tea gardens and the villages of Bir and Billing, well known for their Buddhist monasteries and Tibetan handicrafts. On your return to Dharamshala you will visit the Baijnath Temple. (B,L)

DAY 5: DEPART DHARAMSHALA

After check-out this morning you will be transferred to Dharamshala airport where your arrangements end. (B)
