Finish your tour in the north; visit Ho Chi Minh Complex in Hanoi and cruise around stunning Halong Bay.

DAY 1: AUSTRALIA TO SAIGONFly with Vietnam Airlines to Saigon for a four night stay.
DAY 2: SAIGONVisit the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office to view the French Colonial architecture. Learn more about the American War in Vietnam with a visit to the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum. End the day at the lively Ben Thanh Market.
DAY 3: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTATravel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Explore the river by boat, passing stilt houses and fish farms. Paddle through palm-lined canals in sampans and walk through villages, where you can sample local tea. Later this afternoon you will return to Saigon.
DAY 4: SAIGON – CU CHI & TAY NINHThis morning explore the amazing network of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which once housed entire underground villages during the American War in Vietnam. Later you will travel to Tay Ninh to experience the midday service at the colourful head temple of the unique Cao Dai religion.
DAY 5: SAIGON TO DALATFly to the French hillstation of Dalat and visit the peaceful Xuan Huong Lake.
DAY 6: DALATVisit Domain de Marie Church, Da Thien fl ower and vegetable garden hamlet and an embroidery shop. After lunch visit the former railway station and take an open-air train ride to Trai Mat Hamlet, enjoying the serene views of the Dalat Plateau. End the day strolling through the Dalat Market.
DAY 7: DALAT TO NHA TRANGTravel to the coastal town of Nha Trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa Province.
DAY 8: NHA TRANGEnjoy a boat trip to the nearby islands off the coast of Nha Trang, where you can go for a swim. This afternoon return to Nha Trang.
DAY 9: NHA TRANG TO HOI ANFly to Danang and travel to the UNESCO World Heritage listed town of Hoi An. Tour the charming town of Hoi An on foot, visiting the vibrant Hoi An Market fi lled with fresh food and vegetables, a local Chinese temple and the Japanese Covered Bridge.
DAY 10: HOI ANVisit a market to purchase fresh ingredients, before travelling along the river to the Red Bridge Restaurant for a cooking class.
DAY 11: HOI AN TO HUEView the scenic Hai Van Pass before entering the Hai Van Tunnel and continuing the drive to Hue. Take a cyclo to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. Later, visit Thien Mu Pagoda and cruise along the Perfume River.
DAY 12: HUE TO HANOIThis morning explore the UNESCO World Heritage listed Royal Tomb of Minh Mang before your fl ight to Hanoi.
DAY 13: HANOIVisit Ho Chi Minh Complex to see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Humble House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Visit the Temple of Literature and the bustling Old Quarter. This evening watch a performance of the famous Water Puppets.
DAY 14: HANOI – HALONG BAYTravel to Halong Bay and board a junk boat for a relaxing cruise through the emerald waters and around the limestone islets. After lunch on board, travel back to Hanoi.
DAY 15: DEPART HANOIThis morning is free at your leisure before you are transferred to Hanoi airport to board your overnight flight to Australia.
DAY 16: ARRIVE AUSTRALIAArrive home today.

DAY 14: HANOI TO HALONG BAYTravel to Halong Bay where you will leave the group and spend the night on board a junk boat cruising through the emerald waters.
DAY 15: HALONG BAY TO HANOIContinue cruising around the limestone islets before returning to Hanoi this afternoon.
DAY 16: DEPART HANOIThis morning is free at your leisure before you are transferred to Hanoi airport to board your overnight flight to Australia.
