Costa Rica Tours

Holiday exceeded expectations. Great group size (18) and our tour guide Eduardo was very engaging and excellent throughout the trip. We got a great feel for Costa Rica as a country and explored its diverse and varied landscapes. We saw the animals we wanted to, many at close proximity helped by expert local guides.
Overall a great holiday to remember with the many photos and videos taken.

We had a fantastic holiday. Our guide, Jorge, was superb and spotted wildlife that seemed impossible to see. He was wonderfully organised and let us know exact timings, event details and what we would need at each. He managed the many transfers skillfully - ensuring that all luggage was on the bus. He had an, almost, photographic memory for all things Costa Rica - cultural, geographical and biological. The tour was amazing and we had fantastic experiences at all times. The food was superb, though a diet was required on our return!! We would very highly recommend both Wendy Wu and Jorge, our guide.

Just to let anyone who is interested in birds and wildlife that this is fantastic adventure with our very knowledgable guide, Jorge who was a veritable encyclopedia of facts and figures. We saw so many beautiful bird/reptiles species. Each of the places we visited were different with highlights not be missed including night walks river trips and zip wires over the cloud forest. Our careful driver Jose was excellent. Accommodation and meals were fine with a couple of exceptional meals including a leisurely lunch on a barge like boat whilst slowly drifting down the Tortuguero river plus a lunch time meal close to Arenal .. delicious. Overall an exceptional holiday made even better by our 11 convivial travelling companions.

An excellent holiday helped by a lovely guide and driver, Jorge Monge and Marlon Nunez. Such a beautiful country. There was just 9 of us on the tour which was amazing as we all seemed to get along really well and that also made the holiday.

I called to book a holiday with Wendy Wu. I have travelled with them a number of times before and always found the holidays to be very well organised.

Always wanted to go to Costa Rica but other companies only went for approx 8 days and did not include most meals.
This tour with Wendy Wu was 14 days and went to all parts of the country.
Staff member, Lusanne was most helpful and was able to deal with my queries efficiently and and effectively.

Brilliant from start to finish. Our tour guide Carlos could not do enough for us, his enthusiasm and kindness really made the tour special. Every day was planned to include as much as possible without feeling rushed or that you were missing out on anything. We saw so much wildlife and beautiful scenery it was truly the trip of a. Lifetime. We saw sloths, monkeys, crocodiles, lizards, toucans, experienced the culture, tasted the delicious food and met so many wonderful people. I would definitely recommend this holiday. Pura vida!

Carlos, our guide was excellent. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the wild life. The driver, Mariano. and the relief we had for a day were both v good. Both also spotted wildlife and pulled over.
The activities arranged were all good. The night walk and the inflatable boat is particular were superb.
The3 days on the pacific coast were an anti-climax. The area is horribly built up, brash and American. We all found it a culture shock. I would much rather have remained somewhere more wild and remote

The Tour was fantastic! The local tour Guide/ Guides were helpful and Friendly. The activities we did always met and surpassed our expectations! Amazing! And a big thank you to our driver who done us proud.

This was my 6th tour with Weny Wu and as usual we were looked after by the National and local guides from the beginning to the end of the tour..

This was our first tour with you and from start to finish we were guided by Isaac who made sure everything went smoothly. He was laid back - but on the ball - always available and very informative.
