Lion Rock Fortress

Made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 Sigiriya Rock, also called Lion Rock, rises a sheer 180 metres out of Sri Lanka’s central plains.
Elephant Orphanage

Connected to the Udawalawe National Park, the Elephant Transit Home rehabilitates and prepares orphaned juvenile elephants to return to the wild.

This tour introduces the very best of Sri Lanka ! So many different experiences, often quite different , but one thing remained constant - the beautiful people of the island, their amazing hospitality and friendly attitude, the superb food ( my favourite of all the places I have been in the world) so much variety of the freshest, tastiest ingredients.
The scenery and environment is breathtaking at times, trees and flowers that surround you wherever you go and as for the coast, it’s stunning …
Our Wendy Wu guide, Lathif, was keen to give us the very best experience and he succeeded!

This was a holiday-of-a-lifetime for us. Our guide, Ajith Foneska, was outstanding. His interpersonal skills were brilliant as was his knowledge of his beloved homeland.
The experiences were incredible-temple visits, safaris, forest walks, river trips, tuk tuk rides, tea plucking, tropical beaches, local craft exhibitions, visits to sanctuaries ( elephant and turtle) , luxurious hotels and delicious cuisine. ( I could go on. )
