Overall this was enjoyable holiday but not worth the price paid. It was an all inclusive holiday which included hotels, excursions, travel and food (3 meals a day).

Started off in Cambodia which was lovely. The tour guide and bus driver were great, very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. Excursions such as Angkor Wat were amazing. Food was of a good standard as were the facilities we were taken to during our trips and the hotel was clean and the service was very good.

Travel in between places was mostly by coach which was comfortable enough and air conditioned. There were supposed to be more flights but for some reason only 1 internal flight was taken.

Mekong River cruise was good overall although probably not worth paying extra for the upper deck. Excursions and local tour guide were very good.

Vietnam was OK although the tour guide wasn't as attentive, helpful and didn't keep the group together on tours and seemed to care more about moving on when other groups were waiting for each point of interest rather then providing our group with a decent amount of info.
Hotels in Vietnam were satisfactory on the whole except for Rice Fields which was very poor to say the least. Dirty, damp, bug ridden, had no hot water and not well maintained. Food and service was awful and certainly not the minimum 4 star accommodation we'd paid for. I had complained immediately to Wendy Wu but heard nothing until I followed it up twice when I returned home. We received a credit towards our next holiday which was poor compensation or rather no compensation unless we take another holiday with WW! I was incorrectly lead to believe Wendy Wu had very good customer service.

Food provided throughout the holiday was of a good quality but lunch and dinners were very samey and got very boring. There was little opportunity to choose from a menu other than on 1 occasion and thankfully on the last day when only breakfast was included.

There was limited free time, so shopping had to be squeezed in. Cambodia was very good value for money in comparison to Vietnam who add a 'tourist' tax on everything and most goods are also imported from China.

The tour guides were outstanding both in Cambodia and Vietnam, Lot and Twon were very knowledgeable and kind, considerate and lovely individuals. The trip itself was flawless from beginning to end. I will definitely book with Wendy Wu again. X

Cruising on the Mekong was a delight. The crew on the ship were wonderful and the food was especially delicious.

Working with the Wendy Wu team in Sydney was especially easy. They anticipated a lot of our questions and were there with prompt and helpful answers.

What they promised, we got! And good value too, getting breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

The "Noire" dinner in Saigon was extraordinary. We were a bit nervous about it, but it was a wonderful experience.

Prompt response to my queries, preempting information helpful in deciding about booking a tour before I had to ask for it.

A great experience and would recommend

The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. Food and service on board was excellent, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The excursions and entertainment were enjoyable and interesting, overall a wonderful experience.

This short cruise (4 days) was part of a 18 day tour of Cambodia and Vietnam. We really enjoyed the cruise. Nice attractive cabin. Excellent varied menu. Good trips visiting some neighbouring islands. Other fun activities like silk painting and cocktail competition snd yoga. Very attentive, polite considerate staff. Nice to be able to relax in pool as well. Very pleasant altogether.

The holiday was fascinating though fast paced in places. The Mekong cruise was a welcome breather in the middle, and the Mekong Victoria and crew were excellent.
The only two slight detractors were the similarity of the fixed menu evening meals in Vietnam, and the pollution in Saigon and Hanoi.
The high point was Hoi An, which was wonderful, with Ra Que village a particular highlight.

First ever long-haul trip. Excellent service, really interesting visits and tours, hotels comfortable and food good, guides very knowledgeable. Cruise on Victoria Mekong pure luxury, staff wonderful.
The only untoward incident was sorted promptly and efficiently by the 24-hour emergency helpline operator.
We felt supported and cared for, the trip was excellent value for money, and we would book with Wendy Wu again.
Only one adverse comment - 'free' drinks were alcohol and soft drinks, but the only soft drinks were all fizzy, there was no dilute squash so nothing available if you don't drink alcohol or fizz. The only still drink was water.

Relaxing interlude in our ‘full on’ Cambodia and Vietnam group tour. Was good to have a slightly more laid back few days before and after an otherwise hectic schedule.

A full on holiday, 4 days on the Mekong, which was a highlight. The boat was well furnished, food was great and the crew very welcoming and helpful. We loved this part of our tour, interesting and informative excursions and onboard entertainment.

Knowledgeable about the tours we were interested in and showed others that would be more suitable. No pressure to book immediately. Giving us time to discuss at home.

Efficient without being pushy, listened to what we were looking for and offered us some advice on what was available. Booking was easy over the phone and correspondence relating to the booking was received within the hour.

We had a great trip. Travel arrangements, including special meals, went smoothly. An excellent itinerary means you get to experience exciting cities, historic sites, rural life and a super cruise on the Victoria Mekong, a very comfortable boat. The people are friendly and welcoming and the country guides worked hard to give us an insight into the history and culture of both countries. The hotels and restaurants were generally very good. Our only reservation - and the reason w didn't give 5 stars - relates to the food. It was good and with generous portions. However, excluding breakfast, the meals were all on a fixed menu basis. We understand that this works well for tour companies and restauranteurs, but one fixed menu was pretty much like any other fixed menu and this meant the meals soon began to feel repetitious. This was more pronounced for vegetarians, where the selection of dishes was more limited. When you think of all the positives on the trip, this seems a relatively small gripe, but one we thought worth mentioning. Our impression was that overall our group (20) felt they'd had a wonderful experience.

We loved it, but don't know the reason for the substantial extra charge for the upper deck cabin. The room size an both decks were identical, both had balconies and there was no great scenery to look at.
