Helpful and knowledgeable service thank you. Cheryl was fantastic, went the extra mile to get us the information we needed so that we could make an intelligent. This will be our second Wendy Wu trip having just had a wonderful Grand Mekong Odyssey vacation with them. Without doubt, very impressed with every aspect of their operation.

Great tour. Very busy but well organised. Had great tour guides in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Both countries are full of amazing history, buildings and most importantly people. Very welcoming.

This was our first trip with Wendy Wu.
It was an excellent experience and we covered everything listed in the itinerary as well as some extras!

The local Tour Guides faultlessly organised everything on time, from hotels to coaches, cruises, internal flights, railway journey, local restaurants, attractions and much more.
It was lovely to have meals out in local restaurants and enjoy the delicious Vietnamese & Khmer cuisine.

We really enjoyed the 2 night cruise on Halong Bay which enabled us to go kayaking, rowing around floating village, exploring Sun Sot Cave & Titop Island etc.
The 7-night Victoria Mekong cruise was also immensely enjoyable, with a comfortable, spacious balcony cabin, excellent polite crew & delicious meals. The shore excursions gave us a unique opportunity to interact with local people and see their authentic culture. The BBQ on the Sun Deck and the bridge visit, as well as silk painting and traditional dance performances & other activities added to the enjoyment.
We were amazed at the varied forms of transportation we experienced, including kayaking, rowing, cyclo tours, Tuk Tuks, Dragon boat cruise, e-buggies and a sunset cruise in a sampan on Angkor Thom moat!
Angkor Wat / Ta Prohm / The Bayon were also amazing visits.
The meeting with a war veteran & the Cu Chi tunnels in Saigon were particularly memorable as well as Phnom Penn Royal Palace & the deeply moving "Killing Fields" visit.
We have taken away so many wonderful memories.

A very full on trip but most interesting. Lovely Vietnamese & Cambodian people and thoroughly enjoyed both countries. Wendy Wu’s itinerary was rich in history and culture, and our guides were wonderful. On a negative note, our Halong Bay 2-night cruise was disappointing; the waters were polluted with plastics, wood, cardboard, etc., and the cruise company should have been aware that the so called beaches that we visited were strewn with debris.

Wonderful holiday. Great guides, amazing food and excellent accommodation. Kim, our guide in Vietnam went over and beyond his role in creating the perfect insight into his country. The crew on the Victoria Mekong were just delightful and helpful, particularly in helping us oldies climb up the river bank! Sokly was equally efficient and knowledgeable in Cambodia. Halong Bay trip was disappointing. The beach we went to was surrounded by litter. One night would have been sufficient. Much better to have had three nights in Hoi An.
One criticism was the bad timings on the day we disembarked the boat in Halong Bay. Our flight from Hanoi was 8.00pm. We spent several hours hanging around at the airport. And the meal we had there was the worst one of the whole trip.
Loved the variety of activities which were organised for us and the efficiency of how everything went to plan. (Which is why the above day stood out).

Superb organisation, knowledgeable guides, helpful staff. Well-organised visits.

Food good; if anything too much, but they adjusted with experience. Bit low on fruit towards the end of voyage. Overloaded on sticky rice! Avoid western-style food (unless trained by a western chef!)

Room was great (clean, although some minor signs of wear). Clean and comfortable bed.

Accommodation was very good throughout.
Organised trips were good although I feel a couple of day's too much was Organised leaving little free time to explore individually.
Due to time constraints sometimes it was a taste of, rather than an indepth visit of somewhere.
Although all inclusive, all meals except breakfast were set menu's, which means you get to enjoy local food, however no choice of what you have
There were some real highlights and I feel good value for money. Definitely head off with a sense of adventure and a sense of humour and enjoy the journey.

The cabin was a good size and staff were excellent. The meals were well prepared if a little repetitive. The crew always made sure we were well looked after.
As an aside, the crew did all they could to make the cruise pleasant but there isn’t actually that much to see or do in the delta. This is a matter for the tour organisers and in no way reflects badly on the stay on board.

I can't fault the service I've had so far. I rang and was answered very quickly, definitely a plus in my book! Cheryl gave me all the information I asked for and made the process extremely easy and pleasant. This,so far, is the best service we've had from a holiday company. I travel quite regularly and this is my first time with Wendy Wu, but hopefully won't be the last.

knowledge and polite service

The tour looks great but we are only at the booking stage and while booking I put that we do not drink alcohol and would any concession be made on the price. I then got rather a curt email saying ‘ no drinks are included’ - which firstly is odd as it talks about being ‘ all inclusive and no extras!’ And most hotels I usually stay in include bottled water if the water is undrinkable and secondly and more importantly the 7 day river cruise clearly states in the detailed itinerary that local bear / wine and drinks are included . I sent this on to the email team and no response back . Now where I work I would not condescend to my customers / I would ensure I printed correct information and would feed back if I was wrong. I hope after the expense of the trip that this is not an indication of how they run the trip or will not be a memorable 30th weddings anniversary!

I hope this tour to Asia is as well organised, well constructed and enjoyable as my tour to China was last year
