I first contacted them by email and got a quick reply from a real person, giving me the information I needed without pushing me to decide before I was ready to book. When I did phone to book, i was passed to the same person who could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I have been very pleased with the service so far.

Flights with Turkish Airlines very good. The hotels were good. The food was excellent and plentiful. The locations were magnificent. So much history to get your mind round. Wendy Wu are a terrific company to travel with.

The buildings and cities were wonderful as was the guide, his knowledge of the history of Uzbekistan was amazing.
I personally found the detailed descriptions of every where we went a bit excessive but my wife thought it amazing

Fantastic country. Rich culture and history. Amazing architecture. Warm and friendly people. We had a knowledgable guide in Babur.
Downsides are the often poor toilet facilities.

This is a fascinating holiday, especially if you get the guide we had with his excellent knowledge. The only proviso I have is that there are4 long stretches when you are on your feet, 3 hours one day, and on some days there are lots of streps to ascend and descend.. The holiday gives you a real insight into Uzbekistan both today and in the past embracing characters such as Ghengis Khan, Tamerlane, Alendar the GReat, Cyrus the GReat and Darius. We eve4n got to have lunch in a Yurt and dinner in an Uzbek's house.

For me, the holiday of a lifetime.
A very comprehensive itinerary, going places other operators don’t (eg. Nukus) we saw sights that very few British have seen.
Good hotels, and the location of the hotels in Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand was excellent.
We had an excellent guide, whose knowledge was extensive.
Food was plentiful, possibly too plentiful and I’m on a strict diet now!
On a serious note I don’t think this should be a Level 1 Physical rating, there are lots of steps at times, walking on uneven surfaces and not insignificant distances. One person on our trip had mobility issues and missed out on quite a bit. But it didn’t inhibit me and I am so glad I have taken this holiday.
