Named after the telegraph cable laid between Broome and Java, Cable Beach is a ‘must see’ on any visit to Broome. Stretched along 22km of white, sandy beach of the Indian Ocean, its sparkling, turquoise waters will lure you with its beauty. Surrounded by sand dunes (perfect for the world-famous camel exploration) and red ochre cliffs, Cable Beach is perfect year-round. Witness sunsets that fill the sky with colours of pink, purple and golden red or simply bask in the sunshine, enjoying beach/water activities or exploring the coastal walks.
