On arrival in La Paz, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon explore the city visiting the Witch's Market, the cathedral and ride on South America’s longest cable car. Later visit the Moon Valley, renowned for its lunar-like landscape. (L)
Take an early morning flight to Uyuni. Continue to the Siloli Desert to see the impressive Stone Tree, a unique rock formation in the form of a tree and continue to the impressive Cordillera de los Frailes, home to colourful mountains and several impressive volcanic lagoons. (B,L,D)
Rise early to journey into the breathtaking Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat. View the Ojos de Agua, the bubbling pools that form when the underground salt rivers rise to the surface, and the Isla Incahuasi, a fish shaped island containing ancient fossils and an array of giant cacti. Finish at Tunupa Volcano and visit the fascinating mummies. Overnight at a unique salt hotel. (B,L,D)
