Cambodia Tours

A very intensive trip that was packed with varied activities. It was mostly active and full on put there were plenty of points to relax and take things in your own time. The guides were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The range of hotels were all of a good standard.
I cannot believe how much was included in this trip, Wendy Wu made sure to book so many things to do that went over and above my expectations

I don’t know where to start other than with the word ‘exceptional’ my expectations were high from the pre tour support and interactions with Wendy Wu operational support however nothing could have prepared me for the care, professionalism and value that met me on tour! SOKHOEUN in Cambodia and HOI in Vietnam were amazing tour guides their vulnerability, insight and care was outstanding and gave such a warmth to the tour and depth of knowledge, alongside first hand experiences of their lives, families and history of the places. The write up wets your appetite, however every single day there was so much more, food, fun, stories, personal interactions - so hard to capture in a review however even the toughest of critics would struggle to find fault with the content! Catering for the needs of the group from food to mobility was always top of mind and carried out to the letter. The events / extras were such fun! Shows, boats, tuk tuks, craft demos, rooftop cocktails all executed with precision and so many laughs - for 16 days “we were family” and thank you all @ wendywu for a job well done! I will be back and 5 stars is not enough!

This was a Go Beyond small group tour of 14 people.
Our local guide Lap was a mind of knowledge about his country. He kept us well organised and on time. He helped foster a fun atmosphere in the group.
Tour tour was well put together seeing the best of Vietnam & Cambodia.
I enjoyed hiking in the rice terraces in Northern Vietnam. Cycling around the rice fields in Hoi An. So much to see and do. I liked the hustle and bustle of Hanoi & Saigon. This trip combined being in nature and also the city. We had plenty of opportunity to meet local people.
Highly recommended.

If you have done tours before this one is slightly different as Cambodia is a small county, with 2 weeks to explore it, this tour is more laidback than most. Febuary was hot 34c (we had no rain) and the tour guide made pervision for this. The excursions started around 08.00-08.30 and we were back at the hotel by 14.30 giving everyone time to chill and relax by the pool before going out for dinner at 18.00h. If you have never been to this part of the world it is busy and interesting, there is lots to see, do and photograph.

In the past we did a Wendy Wu tour in China and found the whole experience wonderful now we have booked a tour for Vietnam and Cambodia for next year and so far the customer service has been fantastic.

This was a well paced excellent holiday. Hoi An could have done with another day for a bit more of a look around. Didn't get to see much of Ho-Chi Minh either. The visit to Chu-chi tunnels was good but because of traffic it takes up the entire day. The time on Hai-Long and the Mekong river cruise were both amazing and amount of time spot on (although finishing the cruise was a bit hard as it was so good). For me the highlight was Ankhor-Watt, again this could have had another day, primarily due to the weather as it is very hot after noon, so visiting the sights on a couple of mornings with other functions (or free time) would be good. Having said all of the above, it really is only feedback as this was a brilliant holiday. The guides particularly Tuan in Vietnam and Peaches in Cambodia were excellent. This is the third tour we have booked with Wendy Wu and there will likely be more. Thank you

Went to Cambodia and Vietnam with Wendy Wu Tours - our guide in Cambodia - Vutha Dam was so attentive and helpful - he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience .

This tour was a wonderful adventure through Cambodia and Vietnam. So many new experiences very different to what we are accustomed to. The hotels and food were generally very good and our tour guides were very friendly and informative with everything running like clockwork. The 'historic' visits covering the Cambodian Killing Fields and the Vietnam War were covered in an informative and sensitive manner. The 'cultural' visits included an overnight stay on the amazing Halong Bay and a visit to the enchanting and relaxing Hoi An. We were impressed with Phnom Penh, more so than Saigon, although a highlight of the latter was dinner in the dark at the Noir Restaurant. And we didn't want the tuk-tuk and cyclo rides to end. The four day cruise down the Mekong was relaxing and included some interesting visits to observe life along the river. The boat itself was very nice.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our third Wendy Wu Tour (after China and Egypt) and would highly recommend.

Accurate information and concise description of the tour and other options. Discounts not as generous as G Adventures but previous experience of touring with Wendy Wu in Japan swayed us.

The tour guides were outstanding both in Cambodia and Vietnam, Lot and Twon were very knowledgeable and kind, considerate and lovely individuals. The trip itself was flawless from beginning to end. I will definitely book with Wendy Wu again. X
