Uncover the best of Beijing on this privately guided short stay with Wendy Wu Tours. China's Capital City is one of the world's most famous historical, cultural and ancient cities. From the awesome Forbidden City, Summer Palace and the Great Wall to Tiananmen Square and the Gate of the Heavenly Peace, Beijing is a trove of sites.
Make your way to Beijing Capital Airport or Beijing railway station. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel for a 3-night stay where the rest of your day is at leisure. Early check-in is not included and an additional transfer supplement applies if arriving into Beijing Daxing airport.
This morning, visit China's most iconic landmark – the Great Wall. Take a chairlift or cable car to the summit of the Mutianyu section, where you can stroll along the wall and admire the sweeping views. Descend by toboggan or cable car, then visit a jade factory to learn about this treasured stone. Later, enjoy a peaceful walk through the beautiful gardens of the Summer Palace.
Head to Beijing's symbolic heart and stroll across Tiananmen Square into the sprawling magnificence of the Forbidden City. Entering through the Gate of Supreme Harmony you will find a complex full of imperial riches. Later, wander through Nanluoguxiang, one of Beijing's oldest hutongs. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere with quirky shops, cafes, and classic street snacks like tanghulu.
Your day is at leisure until the time comes to transfer to Beijing Capital Airport or Beijing railway station by private vehicle, for your onward journey. Late check-out is not included. An additional transfer supplement applies for Beijing Daxing airport.
The best times to visit China are in spring, April to May and autumn, September to October, when the days are warm and rainfall and humidity low.

All of our tours offer a single room supplement, which means you’ll have a room to yourself throughout your chosen tour. Continue the check-out process for the applicable supplement.
On most tours, you can choose our 'Happy to Share' option, which may enable you to share a twin room with other solo customers of the same gender who also request Happy to Share. If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance.
If you are booking on a Dedicated Solo departure, a single room is already included in the price and there are no additional single supplements to pay.
