Extraordinary tours by the Award-Winning Tour Specialist
Most airlines now require your full first name, middle name (if you have one) and surname. These must be provided exactly as they appear on your passport, otherwise boarding may be denied.
To help you decide which is the right tour for you, we have developed an easy fitness grading system for every one of our tours. You can find the fitness grading on each tour page, the Tour Dossier and further information on each grading here.
You must be sufficiently fit and healthy to be able to take part in all included elements of the tour. The day-to-day activies will be detailed in the Tour Dossier.
To take the strain out of organising your visa, we will look after it for you. We have included the cost of your visa in the price of your tour (AU passports only). All you need to do is send us your passport, completed visa application form and passport size photos 75 Days before departure by courier and we aim to have them sent back to you within four weeks.
If you require your passport back earlier, please let us know so that we can arrange for an express visa service at an additional charge. Passports or visa application forms received six weeks or less before departure will automatically incur an express visa fee.
All Australian citizens require a full passport for all holidays with Wendy Wu Tours and this should be valid for at least six months after the date of your scheduled return home date and at least two blank pages.
You can find more about passports and visas here.
It is a condition of your booking that you are insured for the duration of your trip. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical requirements, luggage, repatriations and additional expenses. At a minimum, the policy is required to cover medical requirements including medical evacuations / repatriations. The choice of insurer is yours. We strongly suggest you purchase insurance at the time you pay your deposit. This is because cancellation fees and charges are payable from that time.
We may request you to provide evidence that you have taken out and paid for a policy to comply with this condition. If you fail to provide a certificate of currency of insurance within a reasonable time after our request, then this will be deemed a cancellation by you and standard cancellation fees will apply.
While we will endeavour to meet your special requests, we're unable to guarantee any. Please let us know if you have any requests, including dietary preferrences, bedding requests, such as twin or double bedding, so we can organise with our local ground operators.
If you, or any member of your party, has any health conditions or food allergies which may affect you while travelling, you must provide us with full details in writing prior to making your booking so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of your arrangements.
Wendy Wu Tours does not give specific health advice, but we do recommend you see your doctor at least six weeks prior to travel for advice and to allow time for any necessary vaccinations. Please remember to take your itinerary with you. Read more here.
We strongly recommend registering your travel plans with www.smartraveller.gov.au as in the event of an emergency, Australian Consular assistance will be more readily available. You can also access the Australian Government’s travel advisory service for up to date information about your destination on the same website.
When you book, you will be asked if you have read and understand the Booking Conditions. Although many people decide not to read the small print, you will find that a great deal of useful information is included within it. We really appreciate you taking the time to do this.
