A very enjoyable, expertly led and well-constructed tour which provided a valuable insight into a fascinating country about which surprisingly little is known in the UK - a real "go beyond" experience - and which was shared with a wonderful group of like-minded travellers who all got on very well together. We did, of course, only scratch the surface of this country, which has so much more to offer, with all its other islands, than just Java.

Adi did a great job as tour leader, guide and organiser extraodinaire. Knowledgable, helpful and flexible. The tour hit all bucket list spots although we did miss out on Mt Bromo sunrise because of the fires. Highlights for me were Mt Bromo crater, Borobudur and komodo dragons. Accommodation was comfortable, meals were great, pace was good. Friendly, helpful tour companions, which was much appreciated for me as a solo traveller. Went on tour on recommendation of a friend. Would thoroughly recommend it.

The guide was personable, knowledgeable and had very good English to get just the right amount of information across. We saw everything I wanted to see despite the large earthquake that happened during our time there. Indonesia is a delightful country and so much more than just komodo dragons (although seeing them at such close quarters was a real highlight).
Wendy Wu tend to be more expensive than some other escorted tour operators but you do get nearly all your meals.
I didn't like the area of Bali we were in for the last night - run down, full of litter, money exchange scammers and people pestering you to buy tat. It's very much selected for being a nice hotel and it's proximity to the airport. Don't expect a white sand paradise!
