Make your way to Ulaanbaatar airport or railway station. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Early check-in is not included. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and settle in.
This morning, drive to Terelj National Park, stopping en route at the monumental Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue, which towers above the Tuul River Valley. Continue to your Ger camp with private ensuite, nestled in the heart of Terelj’s dramatic winter landscapes. After a welcome lunch, explore the park’s most famous landmarks — Big Turtle Rock and the tranquil Meditation Temple — before returning to camp for dinner and a peaceful night’s stay in your cosy, heated Ger. Make use of the shared sauna and spa facilities.
Experience Mongolia’s wild side on a day of outdoor adventures including dog sledding, quad-biking and traditional archery. Warm up with a hearty lunch and return to your private Ger camp for dinner under the vast winter sky.
Journey to Khustai National Park, home to the rare and resilient Przewalski horse (Takhi) and the regal red deer. Explore the park’s sweeping landscapes, enrich your understanding of the park's conservation efforts by engaging with a documentary, and if weather allows, walk into the hills for panoramic views and to spot the incredible wildlife. On most tours, you can choose our 'Happy to Share' option, which may enable you to share a twin room with other solo customers of the same gender who also request Happy to Share. If a share partner is found, the Single Supplement will be removed from your booking. If a share partner is not found, the Single Supplement will remain and is payable with your final balance.
